It is the combination of these traits that create individualistic, unique character and personality that bind us together as individuals and community. So what makes you unique?

My name is Joanna M. Smith and I am the CEO and Founder of DaCS NOW, LLC. When we created this company I had two goals in mind: First, to build an outlet and resource for expressive individualism through the use of commerce while creating a supportive, involved community and secondly to give back to those whose, "uniqueness" helped to build and strengthen this company to fulfill its greatest potential.

Expressive Individualism: Tommy likes the red BMW convertible while Suzy likes the blue Land Rover. Tina is into African hairdressing while Ben is into spikes with a little color. Scott wants to open his own business while Allison wants to outfit her new nursery and become a stay at home mom. We all like and want different things; it is how our "uniqueness" shines outward through expressive creativity within our environment. Here at DaCS NOW! An Auction For Humanity we try to recognize and account for everyone's unique and individual character and personality needs by use of a supportive, strong, open, interactive community and online retail resource.

Community Support Projects: DaCS NOW! An Auction For Humanity is a company like no other. Our purpose is stronger and wider than the normal business mission statement. We go beyond the money driven world of commerce and straight into the needs and hearts of people whose strength, determination and support helped to create us. DaCS NOW! An Auction For Humanity is a company that was created to help aid Not-For-Profit Organizations located within our community whose purpose is to provide community support to those in need. A portion of DaCS NOW, LLC's generated revenue each year will be contributed to various Not-For-Profit Community Organizations by way of direct and indirect support; which means that everytime you show support to our growing community through your active involvement within this site we in turn are able to provide support to the greatest community of them all- Yours! This Company gives back in various ways by supporting those in need such as: children with disabilities, hospital patients who can't afford their healthcare, homeless shelters, orphanages, retirement home projects, families with terminally ill children, and stronger more developed foundations such as The American Red Cross, The American Heart Association, and others whose sole purpose is to support individuals and families struggling with difficult and overwhelming situations. In today's economy with growing environmental issues and inflation, decrease in energy supplies it is quick to see how fast a dollar can go. So the first thing we wanted to do was to make your money count- your money has value because you worked hard for it.
We all know how our competitor's work, let's say you have ten items for sale and only one item gets sold while the other nine do not. The fees for listing the other nine used up the profit from the one item you did sell, meaning you just gave away that one item for free! Not only did you lose the time and effort you spent for listing your items but you lost the profit as well. You, your time and the value of your dollar deserve more. So the word FREE was designed with you the seller in mind. Here is what we offer:

So what does all this mean to you and the value of your dollar? To the sellers, we took out the listing set-up fee because if you don't sell your item then you shouldn't be penalized for it. The market may not have supported it, temporarily. Second, there is no fee for relisting so you can automatically relist and try again, making your time and effort count for something. To help you increase your chances of a successful sale we have opened the option for additional category at no additional cost. This way you can choose to include your item in two separate categories doubling your chances of a sale. Also, included is the ability to accept offers for free. Reserve price equals FREE; this was a big priority. Too often sellers will list their items below a good market value to help in reducing the cost of fees in hopes that the listing will be involved in a bidding tug of war to raise the price to an acceptable amount. When this does not happen the seller leaves the transaction with a feeling of being taken advantage of and a sense of resentment. That's where the reserve price fee for Free comes in. It was important to make sure that the seller is able to walk away from the transaction with a fair value or at least a good conscious. Interested in having your own store? To the buyers it is equally important that your time, effort and the value of your dollar be given the recognition it deserves. On this end I present DaCS NOW! First we require any seller to obtain identity verification before they are allowed to list or sell an item on our site. This verification process includes but is not limited to verification of current address, phone number, social security number and other means considered necessary. DaCS NOW, LLC cannot guarantee against fraud or identity theft, however we can do our best to prevent it. Also included in this Program is our user rating system. We have included additional questions designed to help aid and give a better representation in the accountability of our sellers and buyers. DaCS NOW, LLC cannot guarantee on the ethical values of the buyers and sellers, however we can create an environment that promotes it. This approach allows you the user to make stronger, smarter decisions by having access to more detailed and informative responses/comments provided by other users within our site.

Community support and involvement is the key to our growth and success and you are at the heart of its foundation. We strongly support open involvement and communication within this site; we have provided a community forum which allows users to communicate ideas, discussions, opinions, advice and recommendations.

Involvement is about everyone coming together as individuals and interacting as if you were one open resource. How can your involvement contribute to the strength of this website? I'll show you:

Promote Teamwork- it is the foundation of success.

Direct communication with the consumer and the knowledge of their wants and needs provides the needed information for long term success. Without knowing what it is you are looking for they don't know what to build and create to successfully provide for your wants and needs. This is where you come in, within our community forum we have created an area called "Open Market" with separate categories designed for various industries. This is where your opinions, suggestions, recommendations and individual perspective is needed. Large companies come to our site and provide to you some of the best specials they can offer in exchange for your input. They want to know what it is you're looking for. Communication and Discussion of various topics within this site. Open communication, friendly conversation helps to promote open and positive attitudes within our community while supporting the functionality of this website. Sharing of ideas while making new friends or strengthening your network.
Resolving of Issues -- we believe that open communcation can go a long way to solve problems that otherwise might require an outside source. Often times most issues have been dealt with previously. We support communication between buyers and sellers through the messaging system or through the public forum in order to get other opinions and suggestions. All communication is expected to be respectful, met with an open mind while working towards an agreeable solution involving both parties.
Site Updates and Recommendations. We need you, this site has been created with you the buyer and seller in mind but often we may overlook areas that might benefit from a creative outlook. If you have suggestions or recommendations please send them to us. Also, there may be times when we need to institute an update to strengthen and improve the functionality of this site. We will list the information within our member's announcements, site news and community and if considered necessary communicate through email correspondence.
