This is a very good working (with bright screen) laptop. It has a wireless card -- plug in, but I don't have wireless service. It works great with the cable plugged in and I have no problems with it. My daughter gave me a new (red) dell laptop and I'm just learning to use it. I did not have cable until July of this year so the one that up for sale has been used priomarily for word perfect (writing).

It is a great computer for that, and I'll be happy to leave the software on it -- it has windows XP, not vista. My daughter said it is NOT for gaming, but I played solitaire and Bible Q on it with no problems. Also there are some little games on it that you try to stop the little characters before they get to the end. I never won so I didn't play those but a few times.

I don't know enough about computers to tell you much more than the fact that is faster than me, and works fine. It has mostly been sitting as a dust collector. You are welcome to come see before you bid -- just let me know that you want to. It is very fast when looking things up on the internet (not that I do that very often) and my newcomputer is larger!'
